Entyce is a once-daily oral appetite stimulant designed to safely and effectively mimic the "hunger hormone" in dogs. 

Entyce is the only FDA-approved therapeutic designed to safely and effectively stimulate appetite in dogs to treat inappetence caused by chronic and acute conditions.

Side effects may include diarrhea, vomiting, increased thirst, increased salivation, flatulence, nausea, abdominal discomfort, increased gut sounds, head shaking, and lethargy.

Other side effects may occur. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.

Entyce should be given orally as directed by your veterinarian. Gently shake before using.

Use with caution in dogs with hepatic dysfunction or renal insufficiency. For use in dogs only. Entyce should not be used in dogs that have a hypersensitivity to capromorelin. Not for use in humans. Keep this and all medications out of reach of children and pets. The safe use of Entyce has not been evaluated in dogs used for breeding or are pregnant or lactating.

Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely. The following drugs can potentially interact with Entyce: amiodarone, diltiazem, cimetidine, erythromycin, ketoconazole, itraconazole, rifampin, and phenobarbital. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.

Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform VetSource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; vomiting; widespread hives and itching.
